Five classes on: The Heart of Yoga by T.K.V. Desikachar

Fridays: April 27, May 11 & 25, June 15 & 29

This Workshop Series with Lisa Otero, RYT-200, at the Yoga Channel Yoga Studio, provides an ongoing opportunity for serious students and yoga teachers to deepen their practice. Our “yoga meditation group” meets twice-a-month on Friday evenings to practice the Eight Limbs of Yoga, including asana, pranayama, and yoga meditation, and to discuss yoga philosophy. Our 2018 reading includes: B.K.S. Iyengar’s The Tree of Yoga; The Bhagavad Gita (comparing two translations: Easwaran’s and Mitchell’s); The Heart of Yoga, Developing a Personal Practice by T.K.V. Desikachar (including The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali); and Autobiography of a Yogi  by Paramahansa Yogananda.  Join a supportive group of yogis who are committed to exploring yoga as a meditation practice.  You will be inspired to practice with deeper awareness and to experience your yoga practice as an integral part of how you live your life.
